I love these old class rings worn stacked together. Too cool for school!
This woman’s 1954 Lamar High School of Houston, Texas class ring is topped with a raised crest. The school mascot of an Indian chief’s head appears on one side under a Redskins banner. The other carries an image of the school and the Honor Society lamp.
Weight: 7.1 grams
Hallmarks: stamped inside the band with the maker’s name Balfour and 10k. The initials AHD are rather roughly engraved as well.
Condition: the top of the ring had a small amount of dark enamel in the recesses of the crest, much of the enamel has chipped away (this is hard to see without a jeweler's loupe).
