An exceptional grouping of 10 original black and white snapshots, each stars a 1940's era Houston Fire Department fire truck.
Several show a Mack truck parked outside the Fire Department Motor Repair Shop, most of these include workmen.
Six of the photos appear to have been taken outside of a firehouse. These show a 2 seat fire truck that looks much like a sports car. In a couple of images, the writing on the side of the truck can be seen – District Fire Chief. Most photos in this group include the firemen. One features a political sign that reads – Vote for Restoration of Salaries of your Firemen, Aug. 22nd, Thanks.
The photos measure over 5-3/4" x 3".
These are in excellent condition with a couple of minor age spots on the backs. Numbers stamped on the backs. Original and not reprints.
Note – the actual photos are crisper and clearer than they appear in my images.
