This miniature antique silverplate basket from Pairpoint served it late Victorian owner as a figural napkin ring. The basket has deep swoops on each side and slightly squared handles topped with a dimensional wild rose flower blossom between a pair of leaves. Hand engraving details the basket.
With a glass insert, it would make a perfect individual open salt!
Measurements: the basket is small at approx 2-1/2” high x 2-1/8” at the widest.

Condition: heavily tarnished.
