Reliquary Saint Agatha of Sicily – A Rare Piece

A magnificent miniature convent work depicting Saint Agatha of Sicily. The reliquary is under glass, adorned with colorful embossed paper and shows to the middle a fine hand colored engraving of the Saint holding breasts on a plate – one of her attributes.
The edges of the reliquary are adorned with paper showing thousands embossed beads.

Saint Agatha is the patron saint of breast cancer patients, martyrs, wet nurses, bell-founders, bakers, fire, earthquakes.

The condition is good to very good, some fine dents to the paper inside, lower edge, see please the attached pictures.
