Here for your consideration is this wonderful Patriotic Stars & Baguette Stripes US Flag brooch designed by Alfred Philippe for the Trifari Company in the 1940s. This brooch was made beginning in 1938 through the early 1940s during the World War II era for people to show their patriotic spirit. The flag is constructed of rhodium-plated gold wash base metal with blue enamel paint. Clear sparkly white Baguettes and red Baguettes are channels set depicting the flag stripes. The stars within the blue enamel field of the flag are inset with a clear tiny rhinestone, very pretty. It is hallmarked on the reverse Trifari with the crown over the T. It is in very nice condition with wear consistent with its age use and storage, very slight wear. This brooch is a smaller size measuring approximately 1 1/8th inch by 1 ¼ inch. Here is your opportunity to make this patriotic piece of history your own. A wonderful addition to your jewelry collection or a lovely gift for that special someone.
