Here for your consideration is this large “Spring” Lamb brooch made by the Silson Company in the 1940s. This whimsical brooch is a nice large size, measuring 2 ¾ inches in diameter. The lamb that is centered into the middle of the ring appears to be a snapshot in time of a young lamb frolicking and jumping at play. This cute little lamb is accented with ruby red rhinestone eyes. The pin back functions properly. The Silson Company was started by Victor & Jack Silberfeld in 1937 who later changed the name to Silson. This pin is hallmarked Silson on the reverse, this mark was first utilized in March of 1941. This collectible brooch is in nice condition with slight consistent with its storage, age and use as you can see in the pictures. Here is your opportunity to own this beautiful brooch.
