Here for your consideration is the vintage Japanese jacket/coat, it was hand made in Japan after World War 2. My late uncle brought this and two other jackets as s sizeouvenirs, back from Japan in the late 1950s he was stationed in Japan during the occupation after World War 2. I do not know exactly what this coat is called however, I think it is a Silk Kimono Haori style coat. This coat is a traditional Japanese jacket with kimono-type sleeves that are designed to be worn over a traditional kimono. These coats are typically cut as in one-size-fits-all sizing. It is handmade hand-stitched silk with a silk lining as you can view in the pictures. The back features a beautiful embroidered Dragon. The coat’s colors are vibrant and it is in excellent condition, it has been stored in a drawer since the 1950s. There is one slight pinhole stain I have pictured. The coat is a smaller size it measures approximately 50 inches across by 34 inches extended. The model is 5’9 and a size 10. This coat is a perfect size for framing and it will display beautifully. Here is your opportunity to own this authentic hand made Japanese Kimono Haoei Happi Coat.
