Here for your consideration is this hard to find brooch depicting a Japanese Netsuke made by the Hattie Carnegie Company in the 1950’s. This collectible brooch features a carved and hand painted resin or Lucite Japanese scholarly man surrounded with faux pearls and green jade colored glass cabochons. The brooch foundation is made of gold plated base metal hallmarked on the reverse with “Hattie Carnegie” within her trademark oval cartouche. The pin-back functions properly and is in working order. The condition of this wonderful brooch is very nice with slight wear consistent with its age use and storage as you can view in the pictures.
