Here for your consideration is this nice Shriner's Scimitar sword pin made of Sterling by Coro. It has a multi tone metal finish brass gold veneer to the sword and flower and a gold finish to the crescent moon. The Flower is decorated with tiny faux turquoise beads, and faux seed pearls with a red rhinestone. There is nicely detailed etched design on the sword blade and handle. Collectable vintage American made costume jewelry! The Scimitar brooch was designed by Adolph Katz, June 1945, Patent # 142,750. The brooch is signed on the reverse Sterling by Coro and it measures approximately 2 ¾ inches. The brooch is in very good condition with wear consistent with its age and use as you can view in the pictures. This lovely brooch would make a nice addition to any jewelry collector's collection.
