These particular brooches are made from gold plated metal accented by beautiful large prong set sparkly stones that freely swing. This happy couple’s clothes are also accented with ruby red rhinestones accents as you can view in the pictures. The male brooch is hallmarked on the reverse "Coro" with the Pegasus logo. This brooch was patented on December 23, 1947, designed by Adolph Katz. The brooch is a good size it measures approximately 2 inches by 1 7/8 inches and the lady is slightly smaller 2 inches by 1 3/4 inches. These beautiful brooches are very nice with slight wear consistent with their age use and storage. The clasp of each pin functions as designed.
