Truly fantastic sterling Mexico panel bracelet by Diaz Santoyo is in near mint circa early 1900’s vintage condition and features four large panels each with repeating design of a fierce Lion or dragon Lion done with abalone in lay and repousse work detail. Extremely well crafted and just comes to life in the light. Beautiful colors in purple, blue hues that pop against the silver back drop. It has a connected security chain and a secure thumb press lock in clasp. Some minor spots of patina on the back, which is otherwise shiny and the front is excellent. Marked on the back of clasp "Hecho en Mexico" "Plata" and "925" arranged around the maker's mark "CJB". Santoyo used the initials CJB instead of his own initials. This piece dates from before the Mexican government mandated Eagle hallmark system was established in the 1940s
