Rare and very beautiful Victorian shell profile portrait cameo has wonderful detail raised carved work on her lovely face with defined nose and eye to her flowing long hair. She is set in a lovely sterling texture bezel marked 925 on the back and has a brooch wearing option with a secure rolling c clasp pin close as well as a small bale. All is vermeil color and the chain is a beautiful thin light weight with small ornate clasp finding that is marked 14K G F.
Noted- the chain is in good clean condition but there is a tiny knot at end of chain. I can no longer work close up or would have untangled it for you. Otherwise the cameo is in most excellent vintage condition.
Measures on pendent from bale down 1 3/8'L and just under 1'W. Chain is approx. 17'L.
