Very rare signed Hobe find this large whimsical frog is in very good condition. Has some very slight color variation. Features diamond cut and raised texture work on the head and crossed back legs. The frog is posing as if he is thinking something through, with his arms crossed and one hand under it's chin. The belly portion is done in a wire cage. Extraordinary craftsmanship on this complicated and delightful design. Has depth and dimension if it spins the wire cage creates a spiral effect. Calling it gold tone because I could not find a metal mark. It does appear to be at the least vermeil over silver plating. Marked Hobe under the frogs fanny.
