Rare 1850's Copeland Parian porcelain group after P.J.Mene titled Chasse au Lapin (Chasing a rabbit). It is pictured in the book "The Parian phenomenon" page 178. This version, which measures 8" tall by 14" long by 6" wide is missing two tails-that of the terrier at the right hand side and the curly one in the middle. Interestingly enough, in the photograph in the book-the dog on the right is also missing his tail in exactly the same spot. Unmarked but positively identified as Copeland as per the reference source given.
