Sweet Edwardian silver gilt brooch pin depicting two running rabbits/hares. Both feature bead-set sparkling old mine rose cut diamonds in varying sizes; each with a blue sapphire eye. Both the diamonds and sapphires are bead-set into sterling silver; open back. The backside is gold gilded; closes securely with a ‘”c” catch pin fastener. Small, it measures 1 ¼" long x 7/16" high; weight = 2.16 grams. Unmarked, tested for sterling silver fineness. It is in good antique condition; minor wear commensurate with age; some light wear to the backside gold gilt; circa 1910. It comes in its original purple velveteen box; slight interior wear. Beautiful when worn on a lapel. Please note the size—I do not want you to be disappointed!
