Vintage Mid Century ceramic wall art produced in the 1960’s by Illinois Moulding Company and sold in department stores throughout the United States as home interior decoration. This vintage wall art was purchased from an estate in Olney, Texas. The owners of the home were also the owners of the town department store from which this art came from and was displayed in their home for many years. The Illinois Moulding Company of Chicago was founded by Hungarian immigrant, Herman Molner. Under license, they would mass produce original artists’ works making fine art affordable for all homeowners. The founder died in 1951, but the company continued production until its closing in 1970. The pieces of art display a vase with a floral arrangement. The wall art frame is done in a scroll pattern. The wall art frame and glass are original to the art. The display is done in a shadow box format. The condition is near mint with no chips, cracks or other imperfections. The 1960’s vintage framed wall art measures 22 ½” high, 11 ½” wide and 1 3/8” deep.
