This slightly out of round Dough Board is characteristic of the early handmade work horse of the early households It measures 13 ¾" one direction and 14 ¾" the other and is 44 ½" inches in the round, and 4 inches high. The top edge has a distinct band and the bottom of the bowl has large flattened area to make it sturdy for kneading dough. It has not been cleaned or oiled- you see it just the way it was found. Notice the Beautiful graining and aged patina also notice a 3 inch crack in the bowl which is minor (please see my pictures they speak louder than words). These bowls are extremely hard to find especially in near perfect condition.
