Vintage 1948 Cram’s Universal Terrestrial world globe was created by the George F. Cram Company of Indianapolis, Indiana. This unique Mid-Century world globe trades the usual blue color oceans for black colored oceans, creating a very vivid and colorful world view map. The land masses are colored in pastel colors which allows one to more easily study the world and its continents. This vintage world globe is model #105B and is in excellent condition with all of its paper orbs present and all of the colors and geographical print is clean and legible. There is a small portion of the equator tape missing in small areas as it circles the globe, which was a common problem for this model. The world globe measures 10 ½” in diameter and 13” high. The base is 6” in diameter.
