Vintage Corning six piece set of casserole cookware with the Spice O’ Life pattern which was first introduced by the Corning Glass Company in 1972 and was discontinued by the company in 1987. This pattern is the second most desired and produced design by Corning Glass. The design is a band of vegetables including mushrooms, artichokes, tomatoes, peppers and garlic. These casserole cooking pieces include a script writing in French underneath the band of vegetables, although some Spice O’ Life Corning pieces did not include the script. The pattern was also known as “French Spice”. Vintage CorningWare has been beloved in the kitchen by the family for generations now. This set includes the 2-quart casserole with lid and two (2) 1 ½ -quart square casseroles with lids. The condition of the Corning casserole set is excellent with no chips or cracks with the exception of on casserole bottom has extensive wear marks from being used on the stovetop.
