Vintage 1977 porcelain commemorative plate celebrating the Oaklawn Horse Racing Track. Located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the Oaklawn Park is an American thoroughbred race track which began horse racing operations in 1905. For more than a century the park has been the host to the famous Arkansas Derby and the Racing Festival of the South week- long event. The racing park is ranked as one of the top ten race parks in the United States. This porcelain commemorative plate is in mint condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and measures 6 ¼” in diameter.
