This beautiful porcelain Japanese vintage inkwell, is richly painted in gold-leaf designs and has transferware flowers on a soft creamy yellow background. It is hallmarked and numbered on the bottom with crossed arrows and three feathers, and the number 7124. It was imported by the Anart Company of New York. There is the perfect spot on the top to hold your pen, and this beautifully designed piece measures 2.50 inches square. It is in very good antique condition, with a normal bit of wear from age and use. It would be the fait-a-complice on your desk top.
