This beautiful hand-painted yellow rose porcelain rectangular pin tray from the turn of the century, was made by M & Z Austria by Moritz Zdekauer (1891-1917) in Altrohlau, Bohemia, and marked, and has the numbers 126 imprinted on the back as well. Soft yellow roses and green leaves cover the 9.0 inch long tray with pastel shadings of green, light blue and yellow, with a gold-leaf edging all around. This piece would look wonderful sitting on your night stand holding your rings or on a bathroom counter. This item, which was part of a very large vanity set, very popular in the 19th century, included a perfume tray, hair receiver, powder box and many other beautiful boudoir accessories, is in very good antique condition with a little wear from age on the gold-leaf edging.
