This little turn of the century 14K round gold locket and which is combined with a beautiful mesh gold-filled watch fob is so typical of that era. They so often combined gold and gold-filled, and that is definitely the case here. The locket is dated 1902 and has three beautifully-scrolled initials--LVW--on the back. Both of the inside rims of the locket are intact ,which is rare—in fact both original photographs of a man and woman are still inside and that's pretty special! Both the lanyard hook to connect to the pocket watch and the bar to slip into a vest pocket are in good condition. They’re ready to wear once again to a handbag, belt, pin, chain, vest, or wherever you think you’d like to show them off. This collectible duo is in very good antique condition with a bit of wear from age and use, and measures about 3.50 inches from the top of the mesh piece to the bottom of the locket. The locket, itself, measures about 1.0 inches in diameter.
