Presented for sale is a pair of early 19th century English soft paste porcelain bute shaped cups made by Spode, pattern 893, in a wide cobalt banding with flowers and scrolls stepped up with gilding. The saucer complements the cups but does not originally match.
The cups and saucer are in excellent condition with a small amount of gilt wear, beautiful for display.
