One of my favorites: A set of four exquisite antique Murano glass salt cellars with fanciful dolphin handles. These delicate pieces are circa 1900 and were hand blown by the venerable Venetian glass blowers of Salviati. The glass salt bowls are scalloped in form and set upon small pedestal bases. The bowls and bases are clear glass with spun gilt inclusions. Each bowl is detailed with small waved indentations. The handles are pink/peach dolphins which also have blown gilt inclusions. The dolphins are further detailed with large yellow and black eyes. What fun these would be on the table filled with salt and/or pepper or even chocolates. They are an extremely fine example of their type and a beautiful decorative for your collection.
In near perfect antique condition, no chips or cracks.
