Offered here is this quite rare figural creamer in the form of a begging lamb. Made by McMaster of white clay places this in the late 1930's into the 1940's. The only coloring is cold painted. The bow handle is a deep red and the paws, eyes, ears and brow are black. The rest of the body is covered in a clear glaze. It measures 4 5/8" high. There are no marks, only the remains of a sticker.
There are no chips, cracks or signs of use. The cold paint is almost entirely intact. There is some minor crazing.
