Offered here is a early Royal Albert (Thomas C. Wild & Sons) Crown China teacup & saucer. This set was made in Longton, England - backstamp c.1934 as pictured below.
Huge Beautiful Pink & Red English Roses also called Cabbage Roses adorn this set both on the inner and outer sides of teacup and around the edge of the saucer - thick brushed gold gilt highlights the roses with rich finishing details around the edge of each piece. This footed and flared cup has a loop style handle - the saucer has a lightly scalloped edge - both the foot and the handle of the cup have rich gold coverage that highlight this set. Teacup stands just over 2.5" high and saucer measures 5.5" in diameter.
This gorgeous vintage set is in wonderful condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs - the elaborate pattern & gilt is all clear and bright. Some very faint signs of wear that do not detract from the overall look of this set especially considering its age - please see detailed pictures.
