Extremely uncommon Ridgway restaurant ware butter pat made in 1930 for the Blue Bird Inn in Arcadia Nova Scotia. The Blue Bird Inn was in operation from the 1920's to the 1960's but no longer exists. This small dish is 4 3/4" in diameter and is marked on the base as shown. The blue bird decoration is outstanding. It is completed in 2 shades of blue with a raised orange breast. Really wonderful piece.
There are no chips, cracks, fleabites or obvious signs of use. The decoration is crisp and clean.
