This perfume atomizer was sold by the DeVilbiss company in 1927 as #I-54.
It is the classic 'cigar' shape that is enameled black on the interior. The surface is shinny black which is a perfect background to the surface decoration. Large gold and thick orange enamel pods are held on stems around the bottle. The foot and lower bowl are smooth gold. The hardware is the desirable 'Ram's head' atomizer with a metal tube that acts as the hose.
The bottle is in good condition with all the correct parts & siphon tube. It retains the original bulb, which is hard, with silk crocheted bulb cover. It can be replaced if desired but this is original. Signed DeVilbiss on the bottom and 7 1/2" tall. The only issue is 2 spots on the foot where the gold was worn off. It has been repaired with real 22K gold that appears brighter than the surrounding gold.
An exquisite DeVilbiss art deco atomizer.
