This large Steuben gold aurene atomizer was sold by DeVilbiss in 1926 as R-2. It is known by collectors as 'Atomic Cloud '. There are 4 styles of these large size atomizers and all are rare as few sold at the high price.

The bottle has an area near the foot that is pinched in forming a sort of square with column on each side. There are 4 of these indents around the bottle. The bottom is cut flat so the bottle stands straight.

The iridescent finish is brilliant gold with strong red highlights in the indented areas. A blue iridescent band is next to the acorn top hardware. The hardware is correct with an amber glass jewel top and full siphon tube. Minor wear to gold plating on hardware. A new bulb & hose has been added. Signed in gold script DeVilbiss in the polished pontil. Almost 10 1/2" tall !
