This perfume atomizer is rarely seen. It was sold in the 1928 DeVilbiss perfume catalogue as # L-51.
It has very unusual and ornate hardware, collar & metal stem. The amber lustre glass bowl is held on an ornate stem with 'curls' in the metal work under the bowl. The same pattern is on the collar.
It stands 7 1/2" tall and all the metal work gives it weight even though a delicate design.
It is in excellent condition with a new bulb & hose but there is wear to the gold plating on the foot as seen in photos. It is not unattractive in person as the nickel plating underneath is still shinny.
An unusual, ornate example of DeVilbiss art deco designs in 1928.
