This large & heavy lamp was made by the Weidlich Bros. company of Connecticut in 1921 -22. The over cap has a cupid looking through the vent opening . Below the cap sits the perfume tray where your fragrance was added. When the lamp was lite, the warmth would send the fragrance into your room. The base has 2 cupids in the design with a few roses added.

The large art glass shade was made by the Lustre Art company & is signed on the fitter. It is a pulled feather glass design with threading or reeding added. The shade alone is 7" tall by 3 1/2" wide.

The gilded metal has some gold plating loss but no other issues. This lamp rarely shows up with the gold finish. The edge of the base is marked 'pat. appl. for USA' and a number beside the Weidlich crest mark. The lamp has been rewired with inline switch and ready for use. 15" tall with a base width of 5" . One small fitter edge chip on shade (see pic of shade signature).

This is a beautiful, romantic lamp for any room.
