This fabulous art glass perfume atomizer is from the late 1920s (1926-28) and typical of the work of Martin Bach Jr at the Durand company. The glass is gold or amber and calcite done in the zipper or zig zag pattern with surface iridescence added. The wide foot is plain iridescent gold with a polished pontil.
The bottle is in very good condition with some wear to the gold plating on the hardware. A new bulb & hose has been added. 8 1/2" tall.
A striking addition to any early art glass collection.
