This 1926 DeVilbiss perfume bottle was sold by the company as part of the 'Imperial Series' of bottles with heavy gilded metalwork. The base glass is Fry foval glass and shows through as a blue opalescent color in the lower section of the windows of the bowl. This one is the pink/coral color that was enameled on the interior of the glass. Catalogue # 1502 .
The heavy gold plated metal work completely covers the foot and most of the bowl. Three windows were left open to show the pink color. A beautiful piece with gilding in good condition, no cracks, siphon tube intact and new bulb & hose added. The only questionable issue is that the bottom of the foot isn't enameled pink. Someone must have been sleeping perhaps. There is a faint gold DeVilbiss script signature on the bottom. Just under 7" tall.
