This perfume bottle was made in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s by the Josef Schmidt firm. The tiara stopper has an intaglio classic lady with 2 cupids in a garden with the longer sections cut & polished in rays.
The black glass base is almost square with the face side completely covered in gilded filigree. A large deeply molded malachite or jade colored glass stone is set into the front and surrounded by a string of faux pearls. Smaller square stones & pearls complete the decoration.
The bottle is 5 3/4" tall and almost 3" wide. Only a remnant of the dauber remains and small chips at base neck opening. Signed with metal tag at neck, Morlee importer silver paper label and acid stamped straight 'made in' over 'Czechoslovakia' on bottom.
