This is an early and rare example dating to the early 19th century. Excellent displayable condition.....ca.1820. Lots of work went into this as they fineness of the cutting is readily apparent. It is rare to find such an example as this. Great cut geometrics and wavy design to the exterior while the rim is super finely cut. There is a spot on the rim that I am positive is a factory repair(or the best after factory repair I have ever seen) as it goes completely unnoticed unless pointed out since it is slightly recessed and the quality and work are a perfectly coordinated cut. This measures 9 1/8" by 9 1/8" across the top and is about 5 1/2" tall. This is about 180 years old and is of the highest quality. A large and fine example......you tell me what it is worth to you today!
