This is a rare and grand piece of Moser glass....seldom seen. It measures 63" tall as it sits, the base is 15" diameter, and the oil bulb being about 7 1/2" diameter. All this needs is a font/burner and it would be ready to light up. The decorations are fantastic and in a Turkish/Persian influenced design. Bright gilt with colored enamel florals and highlights with raised enameled designs. Both designs match on bulb and base. The center pole has some gilt, but it is hard to make out. This dates to about c1885 or so. This has not been electrified or modified. It comes apart in 3 separate pieces as the center green glass post screws into both the base and oil bulb. The center post is basically 43" long so I could probably ship in 2 or 3 separate boxes. The price has been discounted even though it says regular price, AND the reduced price now Includes free US shipping....discounted international! If your in the Northeast you are free to pick this up, or inspect at the items location. I am an hour north of downtown Boston, MA and an hour south of Portland, Maine, as I am 5 miles off of I-95. I have reduced this from 3895, to 3495, to finally 2970.......this is consigned, and I will say again, extremely unusual....I have never seen another of this quality and size.
