Fantastic 180 or so year old Egermann cut and engraved glass beaker vase with stained cabochons and hand faceted panels with hand painted enameled bugs and floral spray panel on the large polished pontil/base. An absolutely stunning example of top quality measuring about 5 1/8" tall and 4 1/4" diameter. Fine cut body with lobed panel body and flat upper body with hobnail diamond cut leaf shaped panels as shown. Smaller stained cut cabochons with engraved initials and a few words I cannot make out. Also some hand painted floral stained cut hobnails in the shape of a flower as photographed. There is one larger flake chip to an upper edge, and a much smaller flake chip to the corner next to it.....otherwise this is is excellent condition with almost no wear to the hand stained and painted decorations. Rather scarce example.....please compare original early 19th century Egermann examples with bugs....you will be shocked if you can find a comparable or two.
