I think this is an unusual and beautiful example, but it has chips to some of the sharp points as photographed with a 1 1/2" hairline visible on one corner. A larger example at about 7 3/8" long, 6 1/2" wide, and 1 3/8" high to rim....not including handle. Dates to about c1800. Also, love the three dimensional leaves and raised floral appliques between the painted scene and handle. Extremely fine quality. Marked with crossed swords and star below mark.
