Great mid 20th century, c1950 thick black drip pottery vase/bowl. Overall excellent original condition. The glaze is thick enough to have layered and showing a curdling and crazing if looked at really close. The interior shows a few drips and is a very very light robin's egg shade of blue. No chips, cracks or repairs. The glaze has crazed enough to not "ping", but it is not cracked.....it is just the super thick glaze with the crazing. I have blacklit and there are no repairs. No hairlines, etc. About 5 1/8" diameter, and 3 1/8" tall. Goes with just about any decor, but is exceptional in space age, Eames modern etc. A rather rare example considering the many variations that were created. Signed on base appropriately.
