Most often you see porcelain painting associated with Limoges etc, but most are American painted plates with Limoges marks.....although undoubtedly there are true shop made examples. This happens to be in a fan shape and about 11 1/8" wide, 8 1/4" tall, and painted in c1936 as the signature/date are shown. Nice still life of poppies, and I believe an American porcelain example also(although it could be a Limoges blank along with many different others. In any case these are not my specialty, so I mark it very reasonably. No damages at all.....excellent overall condition. Rather heavy and solid. Even the gilt trim is nearly perfect. A nice piece to display as I hope the photos show.
