This needs more pictures to fully capture....even then it should be seen in hand to fully appreciate. Extremely fine and unusual mid 19th century Bohemian glass pokal that strikes me as Egermann(it would be the logical choice). Swirled finial on the top with protruding engravings all around the brim of the lid. Absolutely fantastic cutting from the base to the top. The color is so deep in spots it looks to be lithyalin with swirled colors under the mid section and in the lid....but it is just the iridescent sheen on super deep ruby glass. There are 31 cartouches consisting of small sterling enameled buildings in Teplitz. 16 are protruding and 15 are on large polished punty around the upper portion of the vase. One punty panel states "Andenken von Teplitz"......so was likely a very high end Grand Tour piece. Nicest spa piece I have ever seen. About 11 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" diameter across wide part of lid. One small chip to the rim of the lid(wouldn't worry about this since you normally don't display the underside of the lid), and another tiny penhead size fleck to a cartouche rim on the lid, but overall excellent displayable condition as I hope the photos show. Am happy to supply other photos as needed.
