Fantastic way before its time design! This has a Lobmeyr monogram scratched in the bottom, but this is Meyrs Neff and dates to about c1900. Looks very similar to several Josef Hoffman designs, with a Lobmeyr form, and is absolutely alongside his design but is also reminiscent of Peter Behrens. Features transparent enamel florals on a multiple sided wine glass with double horizontal cuts....giving this a very geometric form and is of the highest quality. Measures about 6 3/4" tall and 2 1/2" diameter across the bowl. A stellar piece for display and a great early example that is a design that is way ahead of the period. Reduced price over 20%! So simple yet advanced. When floofiness and ornate displays were the rule, this broke the mold. A great piece for display.
