This has to be a scarce example. I have tried to research the forms/style of this vase and finally found some examples about 10 years ago.....then I noticed that none had half as much color as this example. I have not been able to find another with half as much color as this.....and it has metallic greens, to sky blue, to ochre red......and cobalt blue too. This is French and dates to around c1890 and is in excellent original condition. Super heavy and about 10 3/4" tall and about 8" wide. By Ernest Baptiste and Eugene Rousseau. Fine crackle glass vase with amethyst, green, a brick-ish red, sky blue, white, sort of a dark amethyst, yellow, and some cobalt blue.....some having a metallic sheen. No damage. Ive owned this for at least 12 years. Top quality glass. Large polished pontil. Unsigned.
