This perfectly wonderful 1880s Victorian diamond and enamel five stone ring is just right for any occasion, including the most special of them! Both something old and something blue, the beauty and fire of over a carat of old European-cut diamonds is accented by the deep blue hue of the enamel gracing the shoulders of this beautifully engraved, hand-crafted ring. Surely a ring that you will never want to take off no matter what occasion lands it on your finger!
Most likely English, this ring was made around 1880 and boasts a gorgeous array of old cushion-cut diamonds which add up to about 1.35 carats total. These stones are clean even under a 10x power jewelers loupe and show up very white and lively, they are approximately H/I in color and all but one are VS1 stones, one is SI1. The stones are set in 18 karat gold and the ring is marked with '18c' inside the band. It is in wonderful condition, is currently a size 5.75 but could be sized a by a skilled jeweler who uses a laser welder. It weighs 4.3 grams. This is a truly lovely ring, the stones are quite bright and sparkly and beautifully cut. It would make a very special engagement ring, wedding ring, or wonderful right hand ring for any occasion.
