There are two things that I tell all my guy friends when they come to me looking for engagement rings for the ladies that they've decided to spend a lifetime with. The first is that if she truly loves you, she'll say yes to ring from a gum ball machine. The second is, don't give her that, give her a diamond.
This vintage diamond solitaire is really and truly the perfect engagement ring. The hand made platinum ring was made around 1950-60, a classically beautiful mounting, it is set with four diamonds in baguette shape and one stunningly lovely round brilliant cut diamond. The center stone has been out and graded, it weighs .72 carats and is an H color and VS2 clarity, it comes with a EGL certificate on the stone. The ring measures 6.7 mm north to south and 13.6 mm across, it sits 6.2 mm off the finger. The ring is currently a size 7.25 but could be easily sized up or down. It weighs 3.3 grams. The ring is marked inside the band with 'PLAT' for platinum and the number '296'.
If you're looking for a traditional style ring, the kind they always have in romance movies, look no further than this gorgeous vintage diamond ring.
