She travels to Connecticut in the winter to watch the snowfall and the sunrise. She walks into the small town pub and greets the bartender she went to high school with. Nobody else knows her name. They want to. She grins, enjoying the idea of giving the locals something to talk about. They whisper about this mystery woman with the blonde hair drinking dry martinis and wearing the most interesting jewelry. It’s not something they can find around there. She’s not someone they can usually find around there, either. She leaves a trail of intrigue as she strolls home, so confident and content in a place where no one knows her name. She twirls the necklace around her neck, smiling.
