American Indian Stella Teller Small Storyteller Figurine 1 Child. It measures almost 3 inches tall. Looks to be in wonderful condition. Small paint loss on back of one bun, $325 original price marked on bottom.
Stella Teller was born in Isleta Pueblo, New Mexico. She began working in clay at the age of 8 at which time her job was to slip and shine vessels her mother made. She is self taught and began making small vessels in 1963 and figurines in 1978. She's won many awards for her beautiful work.
