You are looking at four matching mini lamp shades, which date to the 1930’s.
Please note these lamp shades do not have the inside metal form which fits onto the light bulb. They will either need to be added or you can slip the shades onto a small plain shade (which you can purchase at a craft or fabric store).
The pleated shades are ecru in color (one is a bit darker), and each features 1” long beaded fringe. The top and bottom edges have 3/8” wide ecru trim.
Each shade has six French appliqués, which match. There are three which are round & fuzzy pink with a bit of green, and three green ribbon bows with a bit of fuzzy pink detail as well.
There are 3/8” wide cardboard bands inside the top and bottom edges.
The upper shade is 2 5/8” in diameter, but the size of the actual opening is 2 ¼”. The shades only are 3” long & 4” long including the fringe. The bottom portion has a circumference of approx. 12 ½”
The overall condition is quite good, but they are dusty in between the pleats, along with an overall vintage look. There are remnants of old glue on the front, but it doesn’t detract from the shades in the least. Some of the appliqués have faded, but again, it just adds to the overall look. One strand of beaded fringe is only partially there, but it’s not really noticeable (see last pic). The inside bottom cardboard band on two shades is only partially there, but it doesn’t affect the shades in the least. All in all, this set of 1930’s lamp shades is fabulous.
