You are looking at a great looking vintage Coty 4 piece set.
The set includes a gold tone compact, lipstick holder, purse size perfume container & a navy & red taffeta pouch.
The shiny gold tone compact has both a smooth & textured finish; there is a round navy decorative piece in the center. The back reads COTY, Paris, New York. Inside, there is a mirror on the top and a powder puff marked Coty. The top of the separate powder portion reads: “Air Spun”, Coty, Poudre De Beaute. There is loose powder included.
The shiny gold metal perfume container has a great looking cut-out design on each side; it has a glass insert. The top & bottom are blue plastic. The bottom label reads: Paris Coty.
The lipstick holder is done in blue plastic on the side and gold metal at the top and bottom. There is a metal strip across the top which flips down, so the lipstick can be pushed up. The lipstick comes up when you push down on the sides of the metal strip. This strip reads Coty. The bottom label reads: BRIGHT, Coty New York.
The blue taffeta pouch has red taffeta piping at the top, the same red taffeta as the lining. There is a 4 ½” Talon zipper, which has a round metal pull ring for easy opening & closing. The zipper works perfectly. Inside, there are three open pockets for the compact, lipstick & perfume.
The overall condition is very good, with the following to note: the pouch is in perfect condition. The compact has light surface scratches with some tiny brown spots mainly on the shiny portion on the left hand side. The deep red lipstick has smudged at the top, but looks unused. The perfume container has light surface scratches.
The dimensions of each piece are as follows: Perfume: 2” tall & 7/8” wide. Lipstick: 2” tall & ¾” wide. Compact: 10” circumference.
This is a great set for any compact or Coty collector.
